Video: Joey Barton treads on Danny Guthrie's groin

Reading and QPR played to a 1-1 draw in the Championship's early kickoff Saturday, with Joey Barton guiding a peachy free kick past Royals keeper Alex McCarthy with just 10 minutes left on the clock to cancel out Garath McCleary's well-hit 62nd-minute opener.

However, his set piece wasn't the only instance of world class ball control Barton displayed on the day, with the QPR ne'er-do-well also lending a helping hand (or should that be foot?) to the Reading medical team while they assessed Danny Guthrie's groin injury.

As Guthrie lay prone on the pitch, Barton wandered over and performed a quick stud-based test on the Reading midfielder's groin, a test that we're not entirely sure conforms to "standard medical procedure" ...
