Ajaccio player feigns injury, throws tantrum after being subbed off

Fabrizio Ravanelli, Ajaccio coach and hero of the prematurely silver, was left singularly unimpressed as his side crashed out of the Coupe de la Ligue at the hands of Bastia on Wednesday night, and no doubt striker Gadji Tallo bore the brunt of the Italian's ire.

Having watched Tallo go down in a crumpled heap and then writhe in agony as the physios stretchered him off the field for treatment, Ravanelli assumed that his Ivorian frontman's race was run and duly subbed the striker off as he was being carried around the perimeter of the pitch.

However, it turned out that Tallo was -- and this may shock you to the core -- feigning his injury, which became immediately apparent when, upon learning he'd been substituted, he leapt up off his stretcher and threw a massive tantrum in the general direction of the Ajaccio bench.

There's definitely a lesson to be learned in there somewhere.
