Video: Students stop traffic to sing Kolo/Yaya chant

Having been tipped out of a nightclub at 3am on Wednesday, a group of possibly/almost definitely inebriated students temporarily stopped traffic for 10 minutes in neither Liverpool nor Manchester, but Newcastle city centre to perform a choral arrangement of the increasingly popular "Kolo/Yaya Toure chant" which, for the uninitiated, is sung ad infinitum to the tune of 2 Unlimited's 90s dance classic "No Limit"...

The bizarre chant (and accompanying choreography) is currently cropping up in the most unlikely of places at the moment, but one person who is enjoying the madness is Yaya Toure himself, who Tweeted the following day...

Rough translation: "Thank you for the dedication from Newcastle lol! It will take me [a while] to understand the Kolo/Yaya Dance..."
