Manchester United's official Twitter account (@ManUtd) have been busy pumping out vintage preseason team photos from various years over the past couple of days, and most have been -- bar the odd disastrous perm -- fairly straightforward, run-of-the-mill affairs.
That was until the 1982-83 edition landed -- for you see, United had just, that summer, signed their first ever shirt sponsorship deal with Sharp, and the electronics firm were keen to get their money's worth, so they included several items of their latest technological marvels (including a cash register, a microwave and a word processor) in the team shot along with Bryan Robson, Steve Coppell, Lou Macari et al...
