Andres Iniesta makes cameo in Spanish crime movie 'Who Shot Bambi?'

Like noted footballing thespian Stan Collymore before him ('Basic Instinct 2', anyone? No?), Andres Iniesta is no stranger to the silver screen having made his film debut in 2012, providing the voice of an albino pirate in the Spanish version of last year's Aardman animation 'The Pirates! Band of Misfits'.

It hasn't taken Iniesta long to bag his second film role, this time playing the complex, challenging role of a professional footballer called "Andres Iniesta" in new Spanish crime caper 'Quien Mato a Bambi?' (which translates as "Who Shot Bambi?"), which is due to hit cinemas on November 17.

Here's the official trailer (skip to the 1:58 mark for Iniesta's cameo)...

According to a Spanish-speaking friend of ours (Google Translate), Iniesta's line translates as "Are you crazy, man? Don't you know that this is a sacred lawn?" before he's whacked in the head with a car door.

Maybe it's a little premature of us to say, but we can smell an Academy Award.
