Borussia Dortmund had a torrid old time of it in the Champions League on Wednesday night, going down 2-1 to Napoli in their group stage opener having had goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller sent off moments before half-time for handling outside the box.
Dortmund, too, had coach Jurgen Klopp sent to the stands 15 minutes prior when he flew into a strange, apoplectic rage following Napoli's first goal of the evening.
Beside himself with rage after Gonzalo Higuain scored from a corner while Dortmund defender Neven Subotic was waiting to come back onto the pitch after receiving treatment on the touchline, Klopp seethed with anger while looming unnervingly into the fourth official's face and was immediately red-carded...
Absolutely terrifying. There was a point there when we were absolutely sure Klopp was going to take a bite out of that poor official's forehead.
