Video: AmaZulu keeper attempts to waste time in 92nd minute, fails spectacularly

AmaZulu FC could have moved to the summit of the South African Premier League on Wednesday night with a win over Bidvest Wits and, what with the Durban-based side leading 1-0 as the clock reached the 92nd minute of the game, you could feasibly argue that they should have gone top too.

However, as injury time wicked away, AmaZulu keeper Tapuwa Kapini took it upon himself to attempt a bit of gamesmanship and waste a few precious seconds by dribbling a loose ball back into his area and pouncing on it.

Sadly for Kapini, he fell awkwardly and duly fumbled the ball directly into the path of Bidvest striker Getaneh Kebede, who was left to roll a late, late equaliser into the completely vacant AmaZulu goal...

Final score: 1-1.
