Earlier in the week a photo of Liverpool fan Dominic Pearson's new tattoo did the rounds on Twitter and Facebook after the tattoo artist responsible for it made a small but rather significant spelling error.

For some reason, Dominic, 20, wanted to pay tribute to Kolo Toure's seamless transition into the Liverpool back-four following his summer move from Man City, but instead the poor lad came out of the tattoo parlour with KOLO TOURO's name inked across his foot instead.

Sadly, for young Dom, his indelible botch made the newspapers on Thursday as the entire nation joined together as one to scoff at his misfortune. However, the story eventually caught the attention of Toure himself, who then made a very generous offer in order to help spare the supporter's blushes...

What a gentleman!
