"Go ahead Ebbsfleet, I'm listening"
Blue Square Bet Premier outfit Ebbsfleet United are hoping that they'll be able to welcome Sideshow Bob himself, Kelsey Grammer to their lavish FA Cup first-round fixture against League One side Carlisle United if his brother-in-law, striker Phil Walsh, can successfully persuade Frasier to delay his return to the States to take in the game.
The 28-year-old target man is the brother of Grammer's wife, actress Kayte Walsh, and is hoping that the actor - who is in the north of England for a Walsh family funeral - will stop by at Carlisle's Brunton Park on Saturday afternoon.
Walsh told The Sun:
"Kelsey and my sister will be at the funeral for my grandma Margaret and I'll join them there before catching up with the rest of the team at our Penrith hotel.
"My grandma was a big influence on our lives and Kayte and Kelsey are coming over from Los Angeles. I'm hoping Kelsey will then be able to come up to Carlisle and watch me play.
"I shall leave some tickets out for them and it'll be nice to have some family support.
"I've spoken to Kelsey about football and know he enjoys the game. As a boy he played. His game is baseball now but if he knows I'm playing he might be able to make the journey."
We always though the Doc' was more of a 'chess and Beaujolais' man, but I'm sure he'll find a certain earthy charm in a lukewarm mince and onion pie and a scalding cup of unidentifiable hot brown liquid at half-time.
And yes, before you point it out, we are completely unable to distinguish between Kelsey Grammer: the actor and Dr Frasier Crane: the fictional sitcom character.
