Everton narrowly saw off Juventus in their maiden Guinness International Champions Cup fixture in San Francisco on Wednesday night, beating the Bianconeri 6-5 on penalties after the first 120 minutes finished level at 1-1, though the Toffees' victory was no doubt aided by the fact that the Italian side seemed willing to allow amateurs to take their spot-kicks for them...



Laughs all round, but If he'd have tried that in a proper competitive match something tells us he may have not made it out of the stadium without having a tazer fired into his nether regions at some stage!

The shootout saw Andrea Pirlo miss - miss! - his spot-kick before 19-year-old Everton youngster John Stones went and out-Pirlo'ed the handsomely-bearded Juve veteran by dinking home a delightful Panenka-style penalty with Everton's penultimate kick of the evening...
