Video: 95,000 Liverpool fans sing 'You'll Never Walk Alone' in Melbourne

Providing a startling realisation of just how global English top-flight football is these days, here are 95,000 predominantly Australian Liverpool fans (along with one solitary Celtic fan!) bellowing "You'll Never Walk Alone" in electrifying unison before the Reds' preseason friendly against the Melbourne Victory at the MCG on Wednesday evening ...

Alas, if only the video footage could do the atmosphere justice. It was enough to make the hairs on the end of your neck stand up!

While it's yet to be verified by the club or any other official sources yet, it is thought that the 95,446 fans who were packed into the MCG for the 2-0 win over the Victory marks the largest attendance ever registered at a Liverpool game in the club's history.

Pretty impressive for a supposedly meaningless friendly!
