Ask Middlesbrough fans if they remember Lee Dong-Gook scoring any 40-yard goal and you're likely to get this face, but that's exactly what the South Korean striker did on Wednesday night while playing in his homeland for Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors against Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma in the K League Classic -- albeit a total and utter fluke!

With ten minutes left and his side down 2-1, Lee was given the simple task of graciously returning the ball to Seongnam 'keeper Jeon Sang-Wook after it had been purposefully put out of play to allow and injury to be tended to -- y'know, as you do.

Unfortunately however, Lee somehow managed to score an accidental Howitzer of an equaliser when his massively overzealous backpass flew over the Seongnam 'keeper and into the back of the net from all of 40 yards out.

The understandably peeved Seongnam players then swarmed the ref to complain at the unintentional injustice that had befouled them, with the Jeonbuk Motors players eventually agreeing to score an apologetic own-goal to even up their striker's ridiculous brainfart...

For the record, the game finished 3-2 to Seongnam with Jeonbuck's courtesy own-goal proving the winner.
