Abandoned Sao Paulo keeper Ceni left to sing anthem alone

After waiting until five minutes before kickoff to notice the sides' kits clashed, the referee for Sao Paulo's Copa Libertadores tie against Arsenal Sarandi ordered the home side off the pitch and back into the dressing room to change into their black and red stripey away strip.

All well and good, these things happen from time to time.

However, the ref ordained that Sao Paulo keeper Rogerio Ceni had no reason to change his clobber and therefore instructed the bewildered veteran SPFC captain to remain on the pitch in order to observe the Brazilian national anthem. . . .solo.

To say things looked a bit awkward is an understatement-and-a-half. . . .
