Video: U.S. U20 keeper Cropper deliberately trips Mexico scorer after conceding late winner

Seems as if U.S. Under 20 international goalkeeper Cody Cropper takes his surname incredibly literally, especially if his little display against Mexico in the CONCACAF U20 Championship Final Sunday is anything to go by.

The game was square at 1-1 after 90 minutes, but Mexico ran away with it in extra time -- eventually going onto win 3-1, with second-half substitute Julio Gomez providing the crucial breakthrough in the 99th minute.

Thoroughly peeved at having conceded so late, the prone Yank stopper Cropper deliberately scooted into position, sticking his legs out to send Gomez sprawling as the Mexican turned to charge off in celebration...

Seeing as Gomez had just secured his country's record 12th CONCACAF U-20 championship, it's fairly unsurprising he looked as if he couldn't have cared less.

You've got to love a bit of bad sportsmanship when it's as blatant as that, no?
