Angry Coventry fan expertly demonstrates the pitfalls of leaving a game early then ranting on a radio phone-in

Here we have, encapsulated perfectly, a perfect demonstration of why one should never rage quit a football match before the final whistle then ring into a radio phone-in to rant and rave about the result.

While they lost 3-2 on aggregate, Coventry City actually beat Crewe Alexandra 2-0 in the second leg of their Johnstone's Paint Trophy regional semi-final on Tuesday night - though sadly one irate fan by the name of "Dan" missed his side's two goals after storming out of the Ricoh Arena early, which were both scored in injury time.

Dan then rang into BBC Radio Coventry and Warwickshire’s post-match phone-in and proceeded to go ballistic over the "goalless" game, while the host tried to calm him down with some brilliantly subtle Alan Partridge quotation.

Just be warned, there is a very brief snippet of NSFW language part-way through...

Ha, and indeed, ha-di-ha-ha! What a buffoon.
