Video: Jonjo Shelvey suffers epic miss on England U21 duty, commentator sums it up nicely

England Under-21s racked up a fairly impressive 4-0 victory over Sweden U21s in the exotic environs of Walsall's Bescott Stadium on Tuesday night and, while Liverpool's Jonjo Shelvey managed to get his name on the score-sheet, he also conspired to head a glorious chance wide from about 10cm out...



"Oi yoi yoi yoi yoi!" indeed. The commentator's facepalm is almost audible.

We're not experts in the field by any stretch, but TP are suggesting that Shelvey ease up on the forehead polish next time.
