Mourinho skips FIFA gala 'because of work', then 'caught' at son's practice
There's a storm a-brewin' at the Bernabeu and it doesn't look like it's going to end well for Jose Mourinho.
According to resolutely pro-Madrid and increasingly anti-Mou newspaper AS, Mourinho told Florentino Perez that he would be missing the Ballon d'Or gala in Zurich on Monday (despite being nominated in the 'Coach of the Year' category) as he had too much work to do ahead of Real's game against Celta Vigo in the Copa Del Rey on Wednesday night.
However, Mourinho was then - shock horror! - 'caught' on candid camera huddled in the corner of the CD Canillas ground watching his young son Joseph train with one of the club's youth strings...
What a rotter!
Given the choice between watching our first-born play football or spending an evening with Sepp Blatter, we know which we'd choose. But, once again according to AS, Florentino Perez has since been made aware of the footage and is, to put it politely, 'not best pleased' with a certain Portuguese somebody.
Alas, we fear the end is nigh for Jose in Madrid.
