Real Madrid's constant pursuit of Tottenham star Gareth Bale is starting to fray a few nerves at White Hart Lane with The Sun and the Daily Mail both reporting officials at the Premier League club want the transfer speculation ended - one way or the other. The north London club has stuck to its line of 'Bale is not for sale', but that hasn't seemed to restrain the circling Madrid, with the Spanish giants rumoured to have made a straight cash bid for the Welshman. And with Manchester United also showing interest, there are real fears emanating from Tottenham that the future of Bale could turn into an all-out bidding war. But Spurs' officials haven't given up hope of keeping their star player, with speculation bubbling that the club are set to offer the 24-year-old a massive new £150,000-a-week contract to keep him from the clutches of United and Madrid.

Meanwhile, Spurs north London rivals, Arsenal, are preparing to overhaul their attacking options with the Mirror and The Sun linking striker Gervinho with a move away from the Emirates. Gervinho has so far failed to live up to his £11 million price-tag, his two-year stay at Arsenal a roller-coaster of superb performances and woeful outings. And with Roma rumoured to be ready to offer £6.5 million for the Ivory Coast international, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger may just feel the time is right to say goodbye to the 26-year-old with the incoming money expected to be used to lure Swansea defender Ashley Williams to London.

Manchester United have been so preoccupied with Wayne Rooney they may have taken their eyes off the diminutive Javier Hernandez. According to the Daily Mail, the Mexico international is being lined up by Valencia as a replacement for the soon-to-be departed Roberto Soldado. The Spaniard has been linked with a move away from the La Liga club and Hernandez, a popular figure but rarely a first-XI starter at Old Trafford, is seen as the perfect back-up option. A loan deal is seen as the Spanish club's best chances of snaring the 25-year-old.

And what's On The Move without a Luis Suarez update? As the speculation continues to increase over the Uruguay striker's exit from Liverpool, the Mirror is suggesting Reds manager Brendan Rodgers will hold out for £50 million before he will agree to letting go of his star striker. But according to many reports, the 26-year-old has already begun speaking with Premier League rival Arsenal.
