Manchester United's pursuit of Robert Lewandowski should have been boosted by the 24-year-old's agent's claims that he "intends to move this summer", but the Premier League champions have received a setback with Borussia Dortmund reportedly putting a £38 million price tag on the highly soughtafter striker. According to the Sun, United must be prepared to pay £28 million for the Poland international and guarantee him more than £10 million each year for the next five years. United and Bayern Munich lead the race to sign Lewandowski, with the German champions hopeful of continuing his partnership with Mario Gotze, who will move to the Allianz Arena in the summer. But Dortmund could happily send Lewandowski to Old Trafford if United meet the requirements.

One look at the English press on Friday will leave you in no doubt that Stevan Jovetic is heading to Arsenal next season. The Gunners have been keeping tabs on the Fiorentina striker for a number of months and the Mirror reports Jovetic is the number one priority for Arsene Wenger when the summer window opens. With Arsenal's hope of signing Barcelona's David Villa all but over, Jovetic could be the biggest addition at the Emirates. Fiorentina are expected to demand around £20 million for the sale of their prolific forward and although the 23-year-old has reportedly agreed in principle to move to Arsenal, he may change his mind if Wenger's side don't secure Champions League football next season.

Former Liverpool striker Dirk Kuyt is ready to turn down the chance to return to Anfield... in Cardiff colours. The Daily Mail says the newly-promoted Welsh side have shown interest in signing Kuyt from Fenerbahce in the summer, but the Dutchman has no plans to move back to England. Kuyt has featured heavily for the Turkish side this season and played in Thursday's Europa League semi-final win over Benfica. The 32-year-old insists he is happy at Fenerbahce and would like to extend his stay.
