Stoke City have all but conceded Asmir Begovic will leave the Britannia Stadium in the summer and they plan on taking advantage of their goalkeeper's solid form this season. According to the Daily Telegraph, the Potters are hoping to secure as much as £20 million for Begovic if frontrunners Manchester United, Chelsea or Arsenal are prepared to match the asking price.

That means United would have to once again break the English transfer record for a goalkeeper after recruiting David de Gea for more than £18 million in 2011. Anders Lindegaard is expected to leave Old Trafford at the season's end, although much of the deal - which has been the subject of speculation for a number of months - would rest on the future of De Gea. It is believed Begovic will only seek a move away from Stoke if he is guaranteed regular football, which he may be guaranteed at Arsenal as doubts remain over the future of current No. 1 Wojciech Szczesny.

The Daily Mail, meanwhile, is tipping Arsenal to move for Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech.

The paper suggests the Blues are ready to put their trust in Thibaut Courtois, who has impressed on loan at Atletico Madrid, and so could allow Cech to move on. Should that be the case, the Mail believes the Gunners are considering a bid for him, as well as Begovic, Pepe Reina, Victor Valdes, Rene Adler and Michel Vorm.

Former Barcelona and Real Madrid midfielder Luis Enrique has emerged as a favourite to take over as Reading boss, according to the Daily Mirror. Enrique most recently coached Italian side Roma but has been out of work since leaving last season.

Prior to that, the Spaniard succeeded Pep Guardiola as coach of the Barcelona B side and his early experience has attracted Reading owner Anton Zingarevich. Eamonn Dolan is currently caretaker coach at Reading but the club is eager to replace Brian McDermott as soon as possible.
