22.04 GMT: More Sunderland news now, and hot on the heels of his goal against Arsenal today it is being claimed that the Black Cats will join the race for Sunderland striker Danny Graham.

21.22 GMT: With Martin O'Neill keen to add physicality to his midfield, reports in Turkey claim Sunderland have agreed a ¬4.5 million fee with Bursaspor's 6ft 2in midfielder Alfred N'Diaye . The 22-year-old can play in midfield or at centre-back, and joined the Green Crocodiles in 2011 from Nancy.

20.31 GMT: Blackpool have had a bid accepted for Barnsley's Scott Wiseman.

19.44 GMT: A big update on Robinho, with Milan saying he has been removed from the transfers list after talks over a possible return to Brazilian club Santos broke down. Adriano Galliani told acmilan.com:"All negotiations to sell Robinho are over, he has been withdrawn from the market."

18.59 GMT: It's doesn't look like Phil Jagielka will be going anywhere anytime soon. He told Everton's official website. "I love being here and the club have obviously not minded extending my deal for another two years so I'm looking forward to the future. I'm proud to be part of this club and especially if we keep going forward the way we are at the moment, maybe there'll be another contract extension in a few years to come."

18.00 GMT: Nothing new on the Loic Remy, Wilfried Zaha, Edinson Cavani and Leandro Damiao fronts. They are the biggest stories of the day. Expect to hear more about them in the following days. Seemingly new rumours involving Premier League clubs chasing Malaga starlet Isco are escalating though, so maybe we'll hear more on the young Spaniard's future soon.

17.45 GMT: Plenty of speculation today regarding Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric. He hasn't made the desired impact in Spain since joining from Spurs. Teams linked include, Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City, and even a return to Tottenham. But a move seems unlikely considering the £33 million Madrid spent on the creative midfielder.

17.15 GMT: More on Robinho story (See - 12.25.) AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani: "I spoke with Gremio yesterday, and they wanted to sign Robinho at all costs." He has also said: "We didn't reach an agreement with Santos for Robinho. And Mino Raiola (agent) didn't reach an agreement regarding the player's salary. Other Brazilian clubs than Santos did meet our demands as well as Robinho's demands, but he only wants Santos."

17.00 GMT: A number of sources claiming Spurs are interested in Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott. The England international has been linked with a number of clubs including Galatasaray, Sunderland and a return to Everton. All seem unlikely at this stage.

16.25 GMT: According to The Sun, Stoke manager Tony Pulis has dismissed reports Michael Owen will leave the Britannia Stadium for move to Perth Glory in the A-League. Pulis told The Sun: "I think Michael is happy where he is. He's a great kid."

15.55 GMT: More contract extensions in Germany. Borussia Dortmund midfielder Sven Bender has extended his contract until 2017.

15.45 GMT: Frank Lampard, staying or going? Everyone seems to say something different. These are quotes from Lazio president Claudio Lotito to Sky Sports Italia: "Many players are linked with us, but we are always on the market for those who we believe can improve the potential of the squad. The newspaper stories are little more than bar talk. We only consider a player to be ours when we have registered his contract with the authorities. I won’t say anything on Lampard, but just that when we look for a player, we usually get him."

15.15 GMT: Live now on ESPN is the FA Cup tie between Swansea and Arsenal. Two transfer targets have scored, Michu and Danny Graham. Does this add to their potential asking prices?

15.05 GMT: Sam Allardyce has played down reports linking West Ham with Cruzeiro forward Wellington Paulista. Clubcall.com quoted The Hammers manager: "We are searching for players, but at this time of year an agent will ring me up, or he will contact the chairman and the next minute they ring the papers and say we are going to buy someone."

14.40 GMT: Some interesting transfer news from Sport.es. They have reported that Real Madrid will make an sensational bid for Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets. It seems inconceivable, but everyone would have thought the same about Luis Figo, and we know what happened there.

Figo was brought to the Bernabeu for £50 million and it will take a similar bid to prize Busquets away. He is a product of the La Masia youth team and his current contract lasts until 2015 with a £122 million release clause.

14.20 GMT: Hungarian defender Roland Juhasz has confirmed his interest in potentially joining Sunderland. The 29-year-old was named Hungarian player of the year in 2009, but has fallen out of favour at current club Anderlecht. He is currently being linked with a £2.5 million move to Wearside: "I want to stay in Western Europe, so it is only natural that Sunderland and the Premier League are incredibly attractive. But I would not say no to Dnipro either," he told Origo.hu.

14.10 GMT: According to Goal.com, Liverpool are set to offer veteran defender Jamie Carragher a new contract. Brendan Rodgers is quoted saying that Carragher "still has a lot to offer."

14.05 GMT: Rumours are circulating that Fulham want to negotiate a swap deal with Birmingham. The Cottagers want young goalkeeper Jack Butland in exchange for David Stockdale. Given the age difference between the goalkeepers, it's likely Fulham will have to add cash to the deal.

13.57 GMT: Neven Subotic is about to prolong his Borussia Dortmund contract. He is out injured at the moment, however announced on Facebook: "But there is also good news you will hear about tomorrow."

13.50 GMT: Stuttgart midfielder Christian Gentner has prolonged his contract until 2016. His current contract was to run out at the end of the season. The contract also includes an option for another year.

13.30 GMT: DONE DEAL: Borussia Dortmund have confirmed via their official website that Ivan Perisic has completed his move to Wolfsburg.

13.28 GMT: The Daily Mail are reporting that QPR are looking to offload former France international Djibril Cisse. Meanwhile, L'Equipe have reported that QPR have offered £6.5 million for Arsenal target Yann M'Vila.

13.20 GMT: The Sunday Times are reporting that Everton boss David Moyes is looking to sign Real Madrid midfielder Pedro Leon. The Spaniard is currently on loan at Getafe and has struck 2 goals in his 15 league appearances this season.

13.12 GMT: footylatest.com are reporting that Chelsea want to sign young Malaga midfielder Isco for £15 million. But they also report that Frank Lampard will stay at the club.

13.07 GMT: The Daily Mail are reporting that Everton have had a £4 million bid for Norway defender Vegard Forren accepted by his club Molde. The 22-year-old has been heavily linked with Fulham in this window.

12.55 GMT: Brazilian midfielder Diego has spoken out about his future and that of former teammate Arda Turan. The Wolfsburg playmaker is quoted on Goal.com saying: "Arda is a very creative player, of which there are many. Arda should continue at Atletico. If he leaves, I think he would be making a mistake." He continued: "I've heard things about an alleged Galatasaray interest in me, but I cannot think of a transfer during this window, I have a contract with Wolfsburg and this is where I belong."

12.45 GMT: footylatest.com are reporting that Arsenal are set to make a move for Wigan midfielder James McCarthy this month. Arsene Wenger is apparently lining up an £8 million bid for the Republic of Ireland international.

12.40 GMT: Sky Sports are reporting that Joey Barton may stay in France beyond his loan spell at Marseille. Marseille sporting director Jose Anigo is quoted saying: "He is very happy here, maybe he has found the right club for him. Should he desire (to stay) it could be very good. We have a very good relationship with his club QPR."

12.35 GMT: Newcastle and Arsenal are reportedly looking to bag Michu from Swansea. The Swan's coach Michael Laudrup has moved to say: "There is no way he will leave, It is absolutely out of the question." He continued: "One reason is because it is so difficult to get someone in right now, and the second is that he is happy here and doesn’t want to leave."

12.25 GMT: La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that AC Milan have rejected a new bid from Santos for Robinho. The improved offer was rejected by AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani who has demanded a sum of £8.1 million for the forward. Santos reportedly offered £7.3 million.

12.18 GMT: The Daily Star are also reporting that Arsenal want to sign Yann M'Vila for a cut-price of £7 million. The controversial midfielder is currently at Rennes in France.

12.10 GMT: Despite claims from The Sun (see below - 7:00) that Everton will not have to sell Marouane Fellaini, The Daily Star have said that the club has been in talks with Chelsea over a potential transfer. But it will set back the London side £30 million to gain the Belgian internationals services.

11.30 GMT: Marseille sporting director Jose Anigo has revealed that the club are prepared to part with Loic Remy - a target for Newcastle and QPR - for the right price. It is thought the Ligue 1 club will accept an offer of around €15 million.

11.12 GMT: The Telegraph says Spurs are ready to step up their pursuit of Leandro Damiao, while the Mail reckons Tottenham have 'clinched' the Brazilian striker's signature.

10.50 GMT: More from Germany and Schalke have extended the contract of defensive midfielder Marco Hoger, 23, until 2016. His existing deal would have run out in 2014.

10.36 GMT: Wolfsburg will announce the signing of Dortmund’s Ivan Perisic at 1pm GMT. It is likely Dortmund will now also make a move during the transfer period local paper Ruhr Nachrichten report. Nuri Sahin and Kevin Prince-Boateng have been mooted as potential options for the reigning Bundesliga champs.

10.03 GMT: Argentinian youngsters Ricardo Centurión and Luis Fariña are wanted by Benfica and Porto but neither club has put in an official bid for the Racing pair yet, according to quotes from the club's president Gaston Cogorno A Bola.

09.46 GMT: Another striker on QPR's radar is Loic Remy, according to the Sunday People, with Newcastle tipped to be their major rivals for the signature of the Marseille forward.

09.30 GMT: Goal.com are claiming that Frank Lampard has turned down a three-year contract from Everton, which if true would surely be proof of his desire to move somewhere sunny!

If Mario Balotelli hasn't taken the hint that his days in Manchester are numbered, City's pursuit of Napoli's should do the trick. The Daily Mirror reports that the Premier League champions have launched an audacious £45 million bid for the Uruguayan. It is believed City's sporting director Txiki Begiristain contacted the Italian side last month to enquire about the 25-year-old. Although Cavani's agent publicly acknowledged that the striker is eager to leave the Serie A, Napoli have turned down the move. "Cavani is a warrior who embodies all that's best of the Napoli spirit and our supporters," Napoli chief Aurelio De Laurentiis said. "It is because of this that I turned down an offer of 55 million euros."

Emmanuel Adebayor's time at Tottenham has been overshadowed by the solid goalscoring form of Jermain Defoe and Gareth Bale, leaving the Togo international's future in serious jeopardy. According to the Daily Star, Andre Villas-Boas is accepting offers for Adebayor this month, with QPR boss Harry Redknapp likely to chime in with a bid. Adebayor and Redknapp formed a successful partnership last season and the 28-year-old could be key to the Rangers' survival scrap.

Tottenham are becoming one of the most active Premier League clubs in the transfer window and they are making a strong enemy in the process. The Daily Mail claims that tensions between Spurs and Manchester United have escalated after the London club put their hand up for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha. That could rile United, who were angered by Spurs' signing of Zeki Fryers after a deal for the youngster while he was still at Old Trafford in the summer broke down.

News that Everton could have been forced to sell Marouane Fellaini or Leighton Baines would have send goosebumps shivering through fans at Goodison Park, but those fears have been allayed with manager David Moyes claiming the club's financial status is in order. The Toffees suffered a £9 million loss, according to the Sun, and were at risk of losing one of their stars, but Moyes insists there is sufficient cash flow to keep both players happy. "There's nothing like that, no," he said. "Remember we recently sold Jack Rodwell. Last season we sold Mikel Arteta so we've sold one or two players."
