Roberto Di Matteo is edging ever closer to the exit door at Chelsea, with a 3-0 loss to Juventus doing nothing to support his claims to remain at Stamford Bridge. The Sun says that it is a matter of 'if' not 'when' for Di Matteo as Chelsea look for a replacement. That could come in the form of ex-Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez. Benitez would temporarily fill the void if Chelsea are unable to lure Pep Guardiola to the club. It seems two trophies in seven months isn't enough for Roman Abramovich.

One man who knows about the pressures that Di Matteo is facing is Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas. The former Chelsea boss is under-fire at Tottenham, but he is set to receive a big break with the Daily Star reporting that he is set to be handed a much-needed £20 million for the January transfer window. A new left-back, a central midfielder to replace Luka Modric and a striker are believed to be on the cards for Villas-Boas as he attempts to turn around Spurs' season.

David Beckham's name is being thrown around across the world and there is no doubt he has set himself up for a lucrative deal, despite his age. The Mirror say Becks could demand as much as £20 million for a further two years on the pitch, although the former England captain insists he will put regular first team football above a big money move.

Brazilian legend Pele has given 20-year-old Neymar advice on his future, warning him off a move to the English Premier League. "Neymar would be better in Spain or France," Pele suggests in the Sun. Manchester City and Chelsea have expressed interest in Neymar, but a La Liga move is more likely.
