The introduction of Roberto Martinez at Everton has largely been considered a boost for the Toffees, but one man far from happy with the Spaniard is Nikica Jelavic. A report in the Daily Mirror has linked the striker with an exit from Goodison Park as he struggles to break into Martinez's starting line-up, ousted by the in-form Chelsea loanee Romelu Lukaku. Everton will consider selling Jelavic if they are able to find a permanent replacement, considering Lukaku is likely to return to his parent club next season. West Ham are reportedly keen on Jelavic and a loan deal to Upton Park is a possibility with Andy Carroll still on the sidelines.
The Mirror also report Jordan Rhodes could be tasked with saving Crystal Palace's season, with new boss Tony Pulis ready to make a six million pound move for the Blackburn Rovers striker. The former Huddersfield forward has been in fine form for Rovers this season and is the club's best chance of securing promotion to the Premier League. But Palace will be hoping to lure the 23-year-old with the prospect of top flight football as current strikers Marouane Chamakh and Cameron Jerome failing to fire.
Could Mario Balotelli be leaving AC Milan or has the media gone over the top with his latest tweet? After missing a penalty in AC Milan's draw with Genoa, the Italian tweeted: "This is the end." Although it could quite simply he has opted to relieve himself of penalty duty after missing one earlier in the year, some outlets claim it's a sign he is leaving the San Siro. You be the judge.
