As the Tottenham star's imminent move to Real Madrid drags closer to its inevitable conclusion, the Daily Mail has revealed the Spanish giants are already trumpeting their soon-to-be-capture as a bargain buy. According to recent reports, Bale is set to seal a move to Madrid late on Saturday despite the London club stalling as they make further moves in the transfer window. But the delay is seen as little more than a bump in the road and Madrid officials are confident that they will soon seal a £78 million move for the Welshman. And despite earlier rumours that the Spaniards would have to smash the transfer fee that they themselves set with the capture of Cristiano Ronaldo, the final payment is £2 million less than many expected would be required.
Is there light at the end of the summer tunnel for Arsenal? According to the Mirror, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has set his eyes on luring Schalke star Julian Draxler to the Premier League.
