08:48 BST: SportsDirect News with a scorcher here. They report that Spurs could make a surprise cut-price bid for striker Radamel Falcao after reports he wants to quit his new club Monaco after just two months. This comes only weeks after Spurs brought in Roberto Soldado for a club record fee.

08:18 BST: Everton have rejected a joint bid by Manchester United for Marouane Fellaini and Leighton Baines, reports The Manchester Evening News. The story has seemingly come from The Liverpool Echo.
Liverpool have been linked with a move for Willian in recent weeks, as Anzhi look to cut costs for the new season. It is believed Liverpool are prepared to pay £26 million for the playmaker, but the Russian club are looking for something closer to the £30 million mark to avoid making a significant loss on the former Shakhtar player. But Spurs are ready to continue their activity in the transfer market, with an offer in excess of Liverpool's bid. Willian could join countryman Paulinho in Spurs' midfield and may be persuaded to opt for London over Merseyside with the promise of European football this season.
Radamel Falcao joined Monaco in one of the most lucrative deals of the summer, but the Colombian could leave France after just a handful of games at the club. The big spending Monaco have come under criticism for being able to over significant salaries compared to their rivals as residents in Monaco are not forced to pay tax. A restructure of the LFP's rules could see Monaco relinquish some of their star players and the Daily Star says Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea have now got their eye on the striker in case he leaves Monaco. It is unlikely Monaco would let Falcao leave for significantly less than the £52 million they paid for him.
The Daily Star also claims AC Milan are locked in a battle with Liverpool for PSG defender Mamadou Sakho. The Frenchman handed in a transfer request last week and is keen to move abroad, with Milan and Liverpool both chasing a centre-back. The Reds were keen to sign Sakho earlier this month but their £18 million bid amounted to nothing. It is believed Milan would prefer a season-long loan deal with an option to buy next summer.
