Gameweek 33 Best Fantasy XI

Jan Kruger/Getty ImagesEverton's Kevin Mirallas, left, and Leighton Baines could rack up some fantasy points in Gameweek 33.

Since this is a double-game week for five teams (Arsenal, Fulham, Everton, West Ham, and Manchester United), Sir John's Best Fantasy XI is stocked with players who might get two bites out of the Premier League apple.

Of course, there is no predicting how PL managers will rotate their lineups. Tottenham and Swansea do not play in Round 33. I have a blog this week on strategy options:

Goalkeeper

David DeGea, Manchester United (Stoke and West Ham away): James Milner's score and Sergio Aguero's magic goal broke an incredible string of clean sheets on Monday. Look for another run to start on Sunday.

Defenders

Patrice Evra, Manchester United: Evra and his mates will be out to get the Man City loss out of their system and have two opponents with little firepower.

Leighton Baines, Everton (QPR home, Arsenal away): Baines has Marouane Fellaini back, Kevin Mirallas in top form, and a demoralized QPR as one of the opponents.

Laurent Koscielny, Arsenal (Norwich and Everton at home): The Frenchman has a new contract and is playing well.

Midfielders

Santi Cazorla, Arsenal (Captain): Cazorla was largely invisible against WBA; however, with Theo Walcott and possibly Jack Wilshere back and Gervinho hot, Santi will have less attention paid to him.

Theo Walcott, Arsenal: Walcott is in a goal-scoring slump but returns from injury and will have two chances to find the net again.

Maroune Fellaini, Everton (QPR home, Arsenal away): The Belgian will be back after serving a two-match suspension for 10 yellow cards.

Kevin Mirallas, Everton: The Belgian is on a hot streak with three goals and two assists in his last four games.

Strikers

Dimitar Berbatov, Fulham (Aston Villa away, Chelsea home): You like the chances of the Bulgarian, who has five goals in his last five games.

Wayne Rooney, Manchester United: Rooney looked frustrated against Man City after scoring in each of his last two games he played. The rust from his injury will be fully off for both of these games.

Robin van Persie, Manchester United: The Dutchie’s last PL goal was February 10. Surely he will find the net in these games.

Bench:
Jussi Jaaskelainen, West Ham; James Collins, West Ham; Brede Hangeland, Fulham; Aaron Ramsey, Arsenal

Notes: Gameweek’s 33 XI is subject to change until kickoff on Saturday. . .Gameweek 32’s Best Fantasy XI came in with a score of 54. Sir John's regular fantasy team had 53.
