World fantasy leaders
GettyImagesRobin van Persie has not been utilised by any of the Segment 2 leaders, perhaps due to his injury concerns of lateWith the international break keeping the Premier League idle until March 30, here is a look at the top fantasy managers in the world for Segment 2 and how their teams scored in Gameweek 30.
1. Sankofa Lakay - 699 (Season - 1931)
Starting XI: Mignolet (3), Enrique (2), Evra (0), Baines (6), Bassong (3), Sissoko (3), Gerrard (3), Bale - Captain (6), Suarez (2), Benteke (7), and Cisse (6). (41 points, 4 remaining transfers and 2.7 remaining budget)
2. MC18 - 696 (Season - 1946)
Starting XI: Mignolet, Debuchy, Samba, Evra (got Shaw's bench points but missed on Baines), Downing, Hazard, Sissoko, Bale - Captain, Remy, Suarez, and Rooney. (46 points, 7 remaining transfers and 1.9 remaining budget)

Note: Of interest is none of the top three in Segment 2 has Robin van Persie.
For the season to date, the leader list is entirely different:
1. Randominators – 2028 (Segment 2 - 647) (5 remaining transfers and 1.1 remaining budget)
2. Short Pump Wednesday – 2011 (Segment 2 – 610) (3 remaining transfers and zero remain budget)
3. FC Fantasy 11 – 1990 (Segment 2 – 623) (9 remaining transfers and 5 remaining budget)
Note: Teams #1 and #2 for the season have Robin van Persie while team #3 does not.
As you can see, round 30 was not very good for the world leaders, so the rest of us can take heart.
Sir John managed 50 points for the week 30, but in Segment 2 only has 561 points for position #3493 in the world, and for the season 1805, which is #678 worldwide. Very disappointing.
The international break is cruel and unusual punishment for PL fantasy fanatics.
