Bayern Munich fined by DFB for fireworks set off by supporters

Bayern Munich have been hit with a €15,000 fine after the club's fans set off fireworks during two away games earlier this season.

German champions Bayern have been punished for incidents at their away games at Eintracht Frankfurt and Darmstadt when flares and smoke bombs were lit by travelling supporters.

The Bundesliga league leaders have accepted the fine, sanctioned by the German Football Association (DFB) on Tuesday.

Fans in the away enclosure fired smoke bombs at the Commerzbank Arena in Frankfurt, while flares were also lit in Darmstadt.
