Andres Iniesta says Barcelona's players have not lost confidence in Luis Enrique after a tough night had a happy ending as Lionel Messi's penalty secured a 2-1 win against Leganes.
Barca boss Luis Enrique -- as well as some of the players, including Andre Gomes -- were whistled by the Camp Nou crowd during a game which looked to be heading for a draw until Messi scored in the 90th minute.
Coupled with the midweek loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League, the out-of-sorts performance from the Blaugrana created an uncomfortable atmosphere inside the stadium.
"We've not lost confidence in ourselves or in the manager," Iniesta, who came on for the final 10 minutes, told reporters after the game.
"I think it's a one-off situation we're going through. I'm sure we'll recover those sensations which have seemed lost and our winning mentality for the upcoming challenges.
"Nothing is lost and we have to be convinced that we'll get back to doing things the right way. We can't keep looking back. We have to look forward and fight for everything -- I don't have any doubts in this team."
However, Iniesta did concede that the hammering Barca received against Unai Emery's PSG was playing on the players' minds going into Sunday's game.
"We knew it was going to be difficult after what happened in Paris," he added. "Of course that had an influence. It wasn't easy going into the game today after that. We're humans and these things affect us.
"There were some strange feelings: frustration, a lack of confidence ... it's inevitable. And then the way the game developed didn't help.
"Despite the early goal we weren't able to put distance between ourselves and Leganes and that led to nerves and made the game difficult."
On the jeers aimed at Luis Enrique and some of his Barca teammates, Iniesta called for the fans to back the team, even if it's difficult given recent results.
Speaking to Movistar after the game, goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen echoed that sentiment: "I don't understand the anger from the fans. Everyone tried to do their best.
"The most important thing is to support us at these moments after the defeat in Paris. We need the supporters, above all at home. We win together and we lose together.
"It's been a tough week for everyone, without doubt. The important thing is that we won and that gives us confidence. There are always things to improve, but that's normal in football."
