Barca 'looking for that run' of results to spark title charge - Luis Enrique

Luis Enrique feels Barcelona still need to improve if they are to reach their targets this season after they beat Eibar 4-0 on Sunday to stretch their winning run to four games in all competitions.

Denis Suarez, Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar scored the goals as Barca moved back to within two points of league leaders Real Madrid, while they're one point behind second-placed Sevilla.

However, Luis Enrique now wants his team to embark on a long winning run, something he says has been lacking so far in the current campaign.

"I'm referring to results when I say about wanting a change in dynamic," the Barca coach said in his postgame news conference.

"I have always been happy with what my team has done, but [a run of good results] always makes everything flow more smoothly and the players have more confidence.

"We're looking for that run. We're [starting] one [now] and I hope that it will be the start of a good run that allows us to close in on the top positions in La Liga.

"But we're still a long way from what's needed in order to be where we want to be."

Barca's victory at Eibar was tainted by an injury to Sergio Busquets, with the midfielder taken off with sprained ankle ligaments in the first half at Ipurua.

Luis Enrique suggested the injury is not as serious as initially feared, before lauding the wealth of options available to him in the scenario he's left without the midfielder for a length of time.

"The game's just ended 4-0 and you already want me to think about who could substitute [Busquets]?" he joked.

"Let me get on the bus first and eat some sushi ... Sergi Roberto, [Javier] Mascherano, [Ivan] Rakitic and Andre Gomes can play in that position. I won't complain because I have a lot of [options]."
