Luis Enrique hopes the Champions League win over Borussia Monchengladbach will provide the spark Barcelona need to get their league form back on track.
Barca travel to bottom of the table Osasuna on Saturday on the back of three consecutive La Liga draws, against Malaga, Real Sociedad and Real Madrid.
However, they returned to form on Tuesday, with an Arda Turan hat trick and a goal from Lionel Messi helping them record a handsome 4-0 win over Gladbach at Camp Nou.
"There wasn't much to play for, but the fact we played a great game and the manner in which we won was important and has strengthened us," Luis Enrique said in a news conference on Friday.
"I hope it will be a starting point to improve on our [recent] performances because in the league we need to improve."

During their run of draws, Barcelona's style of play has come in for criticism, with their usual control in midfield lacking.
Andres Iniesta's return from an injury, though, has seen them recover their focus in the middle of the pitch and against Gladbach they attempted over 1,000 passes, a Champions League high.
"I'm tired of talking about that," Luis Enrique responded when asked once again if he was steering away from the club's philosophy, despite the statistics posted in the win over the Bundesliga side.
"My style is Barca's style. I developed here as a coach. I have defended this issue regularly. People [can] say we don't look like Barca, but I'm the coach and I don't have anything else to say about that. Think what you want."
Neymar is suspended for Saturday's game in Pamplona and Arda Turan is expected to start in his place, although Luis Enrique wouldn't give anything away regarding his team selection.
Instead he preferred to focus on the necessity for both teams to get three points, with Osasuna stuck at the bottom of the table and Barca trailing leaders Real Madrid by six points.
"Osasuna obviously have a necessity to win," the Barca coach added. "But we need to win as well because we're second, six points off the leaders, and we have needs as well.
"It's not just any game for us. It has maximum importance, but there is still room for error, as there are a lot of games left.
"[Madrid] have more margin for error, of course, and the only way to close the gap [on them] is to get all the points we can and put pressure on them. But there is a long way to go in the season."
