Roma forward Francesco Totti has hinted that he could be entering the final few months of his playing career. Totti's contract expires at the end of June, and the 40-year-old has been offered a six-year deal to become a director. "I've been thinking a lot about what I intend to do these past few months," he told Canale 5. "Of course I still love playing. I could become a director or I could still be playing, or maybe I decide to become an agent and discover new champions because I've got quite a bit of experience in football." Totti has made only rare substitute appearances for Luciano Spalletti's team this season. A rift between the pair a year ago led to speculation that he was going to retire last summer, but he then signed a one-year contract extension. Spalletti recently said he would only extend his own contract if Totti extended his, but the forward joked: "He wouldn't play me anyway. "But I would keep Spalletti as our coach -- he's the future of Roma and the club can win things with him. He's a great coach. I hope he stays."
