Sergio Aguero won't start for Argentina vs. Bolivia - Edgardo Bauza

Argentina coach Edgardo Bauza will leave Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero on the bench after making seven changes for Tuesday's World Cup qualifier against Bolivia.

The Argentina federation on Monday announced that captain Lionel Messi will partner with Sao Paulo striker Lucas Pratto in attack.

Juventus' Gonzalo Higuain, Javier Mascherano, Lucas Biglia and Nicolas Otamendi are all suspended after collecting yellow cards. Full-backs Gabriel Mercado and Emmanuel Mas are both injured and will sit out.

Enzo Perez, Ever Banega and Guido Pizarro were named to the midfield to support Angel Di Maria, Messi and Pratto.

Messi scored the only goal last week as Argentina kept alive their hopes of World Cup qualification with a 1-0 win over Chile in Buenos Aires.

"We are going to make an effort so that Messi is comfortable and so that the players get the ball to him where he can do damage," Bauza said. "Argentina always play to win games.

"We want to win in La Paz but we all know that it is not easy. The altitude makes for tough conditions," Bauza said. "We have to be smart and consider the game plan and not sticking to it would be foolish. Bolivia have good players and will attack with many people.

"The problem of the altitude comes in the last 20 minutes. We will see how we come through the game physically. When we get to the altitude, we give paracetamol to players to avoid headaches."
